In 2012, Audi launched the first generation of the SQ5. For the launch of the new model and to emphasise the sporty aspirations of the SUV, the Ingolstadt manufacturer chose a special location and a special occasion – the 24-hour race at Le Mans. And the high-performance Q5 really impressed the experts with its dynamic. Meanwhile, the second generation has arrived and naturally presents a perfect opportunity for the Bavarian vehicle tuners ABT Sportsline.
ABT Sportsline increases the performance of the 3.0 TDI from the stock 341 HP (251 kW) and 700 Nm to a powerful 385 HP (283 kW) and 760 Nm of torque. This is facilitated by the performance upgrade ABT Power*, which is based on the high-tech control unit ABT Engine Control (AEC). The latter guarantees optimal power utilisation whilst protecting the engine at the same time. Now the SQ5 accelerates effortlessly from 0 to 100 km/h in under 5 seconds. ABT suspension springs also increase the transverse dynamic potential of the SQ5, thus enabling more efficient transfer of the additional horsepower to the road. Adjustable lowering from 35 to 60 mm also excels at providing the perfect aesthetic.
Keyword looks: The world’s largest tuner of automotive aftermarket and performance parts specialist for vehicles from the Audi and VW Group offers a stylish quartet of different rims for the SQ5. One highlight from this range is the 21-inch HR model in glossy black. An additional eyecatcher are the ABT integrated entrance lights. They project the good name of the Bavarian company onto the tarmac when entering or leaving the vehicle.
