With the chiptuning product PowerControl for cars, the engine performance is increased by 25 to 30% while with the PowerControl PDX for trucks lesser fuel consumption of about 12% can be achieved. A second DTE product line is the PedalBox: the gas pedal tuning for all passenger cars with an electronic accelerator. The PedalBox shortens the reaction time of throttle response and leads to a noticeable improvement in acceleration by approximately 10%.

With the PedalBox app, the accelerator pedal tuning can be operated, preset and updated via app.

No, DTE products will not cause a check engine light as our products are made specifically for your car. Should it cause a check engine light it means that you are installing the wrong application – which is a good thing since DTE will not force a wrong product into your car’s system.
No, DTE PedalBox and PowerControl units are not universal applications as they have specific part numbers for every vehicle.
DTE PedalBox is only applicable to vehicles with electronic throttle modules or drive-by wire applications.
DTE PowerControl units are only applicable to vehicles with turbocharged gas and diesel engines.
No, DTE will not hinder your engine performance in the long run, it will take care of it because of our revolutionary Engine Protect+ system that will prevent the engine against over-powering and limits the applied current to protect your engine’s injectors and vital sensors.
Yes it can help you save up to 15% fuel using the PedalBox or PowerControl’s Eco Mode given that your driving habit is not aggressive. Since the PedalBox and PowerControl gives you the power you needed at a lower RPM, you don’t need to step on the throttle longer and harder. But then again, fuel savings are STILL subjective to the driver’s driving style.
Yes, all of DTE’s products come with 2 years unlimited mileage warranty. We will replace the unit, not repair, as long as it is proven to be defective.
