The GPX Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R crewed by the current FIA WEC Sportscar World Champions Kévin Estre, Michael Christensen, and Austria’s Richard Lietz finished first at the Belgian long-distance classic after 363 laps, securing Porsche the seventh overall success.
The victory at Spa was the seventh overall victory for Porsche in the Ardennes. The last time the sports car manufacturer triumphed 2010 in Belgium. All Porsche 911 GT3 R are homologated with full adjustable KW damper technologies.
The Porsche Motorsport customers were not only able to celebrate first and second place, from the six 911 GT3 R that participated at the 24 Hour Race were in the top 10!
First Rowe Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R finished second in the overall standings with a gap of 3.347 seconds. The cockpit was shared by Nick Tandy, Patrick Pilet and Fredric Makowiecki. In Spa the Rowe Racing team started with three 911 GT3 R!
The second Rowe Racing GT3 R Porsche made the top 5 perfect for Porsche Motorsports and Sven Müller, Romain Dumas and Mathieu Jaminet finished one lap behind at fifth place overall.
The third Rowe Racing 911 GT3 R from our motorsport customer Porsche was driven by Dennis Olsen, Matt Campbell and Dirk Werner. These car placed on the seventh position overall.
Earl Bamber, Laurens Vanthoor and Timo Bernhard crossed the finish line with their KÜS Team Porsche 911 GT3 R in ninth place; from six Porsche 911 GT3 R at the 24-hour race Spa-Francorchamps five Porsche GT3 R placed in the top ten!
